How to Read the Analytics Dashboard

Analytics shows what you billed, what you collected, which invoices are overdue, and which customers and products make up the money.

Step 1

Open Analytics

Open Analytics in the dashboard sidebar. You need permission to view invoices. The page covers revenue, collections, overdue risk, and subscription usage.

Step 2

Set the trend range

Use Trend range at the top. Revenue Trend and product charts follow that range. Snapshot cards do not. Invoice status, aging, and outstanding customers always show the current position, not only the selected dates.

Step 3

Compare invoiced and collected

Revenue Trend plots two lines: Invoiced (what invoices billed) and Collected (what payments brought in). A gap means bills went out and cash has not fully arrived. Invoice status splits current invoices into Paid, Pending, Overdue, and Draft.

Step 4

Find who and what to follow up

Aging Buckets group unpaid amounts by how late they are. Top Outstanding Customers lists who owes the most right now. Top Products by Revenue shows which catalog items contributed in the selected range. Subscription Usage vs Limits shows plan usage. It is your Invoism plan, not customer payments.

Common questions

What is the difference between invoiced and collected?

Invoiced is the amount on invoices in the selected range. Collected is the amount of payments received in that range. Collected can be lower when customers still owe you.

Does the trend range change aging and outstanding customers?

No. Trend charts use the selected range. Invoice status, aging buckets, and top outstanding customers are current snapshots.

Why is a chart empty?

The chart has no invoices or payments in that range yet. Create and send invoices, record payments, and choose a wider trend range.

Expected outcomes

  • You can tell billed revenue from collected cash
  • You can see overdue invoices and the customers who owe the most
